Guild Wars 2

I see there’s 2 tabs for ascended amulets on the laurel merchant in LA. What I don’t understand is why an amulet that has 85 precision 85 toughness and 126 condition damage is only 30 laurels, and one that has 60 precision and toughness and 91 condition damage is 40 laurels + 50 ecto. Am I missing something? Do the more expensive ones do something else? They both seem to have the same infusion slots.

The 40 laurels + 50 ecto pieces are not amulets, but accessories (i.e. earrings, field guides, etc).

Amulets are on one tab, accessories are on the other.

You can buy amulets cheaper (laureld), if you have badges of honor, from the WvW vendor.

Cheapest place for accessories is from the guild commendation vendor.

ah ha! I guess Ascended, Accessory, Amulet was too many "A"s for too little coffee this morning. Thanks.
