There is a mystic forge recipe to redo stats on ascended armors/weapons. Does this work with the collection reward staff, Bo?

It does work, but the resulting Ascended staff will be a generic skin. You’ll need to use a Transmutation Charge to restore the appearance of Bo.

You’ll lose any Sigils and Agony Resistance you’ve put into the weapon, too.

If you have your fractals masteries up high enough to get over to the NPC who sells the extractors you can pull your AR off the staff before the stat change.
