Ascended gear is account bound. However, ascended materials are not and time gated, so there is some potential to make gold there. Not sure what’s profitable now, or even what current prices are, but they generally sell around 10 each.
Deldrimor, spiritwood, elonian leather, and damask bolts are crafted at 450 of the related disciplines

Each person craft their own ascended gear/weapons and why you always level your crafting proffesions up so you have access when you reach a point were you want to make them.
As already been said you can sell the crafting materials for it though, but make sure to check first, some insignias are for example account bound and some are not and so on.
What you sell them for you can see when you open the Trading Post. It will tell you what the highest ordered buyers price is and what the highest sellers price is.
