Is the only was to get the ascended sinister recipe from the bandit crest collector in the silverwastes? I checked wiki and it only showed a select few of the ascended insignia available from master craftsman, and sinister wasn’t one of them. Just wanted to be sure, that their wasn’t an easier way to get it. Spending 21k karma is easier then farming 600 credits.

Yes, you must purchase the Verata’s Insignia from the Bandit Crest collector. You will also then need to acquire the specific armor/weapon recipe from Bandit chests. (These can be purchased on the TP however, at fairly reasonable prices now.)

Sinister is dirt cheap on the TP. Made a full set for my necro. The only thing slowing you down would be the charged crystals

Ok, so buying the specific armor recipe would be better then discovering the armor itself like it would have been done normally for everything that was level 400 and lower?

you can’t discover the recipe, you can only buy it

I’m pretty sure the weapon/armor recipe is only from TP. You can also get it from bandit chest but I think that takes some luck.

The inscription I’m not so sure. I think it’s from the vendor and you buy with crest.

Note that you MUST also buy / obtain the Exotic insignia/inscription recipe as one of them is required as an ingredient for the Ascended one. (another 400 badges).

The sinister insignia recipe can’t be bought from the TP? I can’t seem to find it on there. So that means it can only be bought from badges or crafted then right?

The Sinister/Verata Insignia and Inscriptions must be purchased from the SW merchants for Bandit Crests + gold.

On top of that, you will need to find/purchase the specific armor/weapon recipes to craft the final item. (e.g. Sinister Wand)

None of the Sinister or Verata recipes can be discovered.

Yeah I see what you mean, might just end up going for something else since it’ll take less time to get.
