Hey guys i am kinda new so i need help!

I got Ascended Greatsword from Tequatl but i want Berserker stats on it so i need to use Mystic Forge to change it and that’s where problem rises.

According to wiki i need to use exotic inscription with zerk stats but i noticed that there are also ascended inscriptions now too so i am kinda scared that info is outdated.

Can i use exotic inscription or will that result in exotic weapon as end result?

For stat changing you specifically need the exotic inscription, the ascended will not work.

The ascended inscription is for crafting an ascended weapon yourself.

FWIW, the wiki is accurate for things like this. Also, to reassure you, it’s not possible to “downgrade” an ascended weapon.

However, do watch out for one thing: if you change the stats, any sigils in the weapon will vanish in the process. So, expect to repurchase them afterwards.
