So I am looking for an ascended back item (berserker stats)…obviously there are a whole bunch of ascended back items out there but I want to hear your experiences with gathering the materials and crafting them. I want to know what was the easiest and cheapest and which ones are most worth it to get.

Also, if anyone knows a good guide to getting these back items please list them in your reply! Thanks!

If you enjoy Fractals, your best bet is the Fractal Capacitor .
Otherwise look for either this one or the Spinal Blades , the last requires Blade Shards, that is kind annoying to acquire now.

As far as berserker’s back items are concerned, you have 2 options. One of them requires 250 vials of powerful blood, which I will assume you do not have. Your second option is playing through the Fractals of the mist (fotm) gw2’s endgame dungeon. Using the second option will not only earn you the backitem, but also ascended rings of your choice. Getting the back piece will require you to grind the dungeon a bit. But the rewards are quite good. You should note that fractals is a special dungeon that you should read about before delving in.

Is a cheaper version of the quiver of swift flight that uses vicious claws instead of bloods. You get to choose your stats on acquire. It can often be much cheaper than the blood version and a good alternative for time in fractals or if you don’t have the materials for the spinal blades.

I especially like my quiver of swift flight for my ranger.

In terms of overall price, Mawdrey might actually be the cheapest. It allows you to select your stats, and I believe Berserker is one of the available options.

It is, however, time-gated and requires you to do a lot of activities across different aspects of the game. You may find this awesome, or tedious, depending on your playstyle.
