Has anyone transmuted their beta fractal capacitor (not infused) into something else, then upgraded it to the Infused version? If so did it keep the transmuted skin or change it back to the fractal skin?

I have not done this myself but after reading others experiences you will lose the transmuted skin. This is because when you forge something the item is technically destroyed and a new one is made.
