So i want to Infuse my There with Yakkington:A Traveler’s Tale.
But i am also interested,after its infused and it comes out of Mystic Forge,do i get to select stats again or is it going to be locked in to what i chose originally?

As far as I know YES. Since infusing an item destroys the old one and generates it anew the infused Version should have the selection reset. The only exception to this is the fractal capacitor since its stats are selected in a different way.
Reminder: Don’t forget to extract your infusions before infusing or they will be destroyed along with the old item!

I thought so,yes it makes sense it will be re-selecteable again,since its a new item so thats why infusions can’t carry over automatically.
Thanks,now i know i can reroll Condi Warrior without making a new back

From the bottom of the page: “The upgrading process creates an entirely new item, so you will lose any existing infusions and skins on the original, non-infused gear.”

An entirely new item means you’ll get to re-select your stats.

The wiki page indicates that the stats are selectable after infusing it.
