I was trying to make a vision crystal in the mystic forge and while I have 500 in tailor I haven’t reached that amount in artificing yet, I was wondering if I need just 500 in artificing or if I need to get 500 in all crafting professions?

It looks as if you should be able to craft it as a level 500 tailor.

It depends on the acended “thing” you want to craft.
With tailor at 500 you can craft acended armor without a problem.

But…
If you want to craft weapons with acended stats, you must have the craftsmanship at its cap, which would be 500 at the moment.

For the vision crystal, you can craft it as soon as reaching 500 in either of the craftmanships.

My problem is that I have 430~ in artificing and 500 in tailoring yet when I try to make the vision crystal I cannot put Empyreal stars into the mystic forge, I can only put bloodstone brick into the forge.

its not a mystic forge recipe. There should be a recipe for the vision crystal in your craft (tailoring).

Vision Crystals are made at the crafting station. And you can’t make one until your crafting professions are at 500; so, your artificer won’t be able to make one. Your tailor can make them, though (for chest pieces).

Am I mistaken in the fact that Weapons need Vision Crystals and Armor needs LESSER Vision Crystals? Can a Tailor even MAKE the one not needed for armor.

I am asking as I have not gotten any Armor crafting to 500 yet (and don’t plan to).

EDIT: Doh! I see now that CHEST armor DOES require the standard Vision Crystal. Never mind……
