3 days ago, my account was hacked, and 20 mins from now I got it back thanks to the support team. And what grasped my eye at first glans was a new person in my friend list.
first thing that came to my mind is this is the hacker’s in game account. so I whispered him saying “hello there. do you remember me?” and he replied with “kitten* you :^)”… so i just wanted to ask is there any way for me to ask the support team to match the IP for this account with my hackers?

Check your last login authorized login location.. if it isnt your location.. BAM theres your answser. (Theres also other ways Anet has to check this you could certainly try reaching Chris Cleary… We know he likes to do fun things like this.. http://massivelyop.com/tag/chris-cleary/ )

I believe its GM Proheals ? usually if you shoot him in game mail or catch him when hes online, hes a really cool guy.

Or you could make a ticket explaining you were hacked and give them that person’s display name, the name.xxxx, and tell them you think they were involved since they were listed as a friend of the hacker.

This is the best option. If your support ticket about being hacked is still open, you could simply update it with this information. If it’s closed, then create a new one.

Why would you need pictures at all? They can see your friend’s list, that you were hacked and all the IPs that have been used to log into your account. They can also see any chat/trades/IPs for the hacker and the friend including any that took place between those two accounts while your account was hacked and any between your account and that account.

As Just a flesh wound said, they’ll be able to see all of the pertinent info. If you still want to share the screen shots, you can simply upload them to a site such as imgur and share the links with support.

Those are good ideas, bad thing that they flushed my account of trusted IPs when they restored it. anyway I’ll do that. and I’ll report what happened next for those who are interested
