Are they gone…?

The disappearance was not intentional, according to one of the “official” guys in the “Game Bugs” section. They asked to know what NPCs are gone from what servers, etc. They have tons of people filling in the list of the missing. But if ANet responds anything like they have in the past, the whole Flame and Frost thing will be over before they get around to fixing it.

They may have the Collectors remain around for a week after the F&F event is over, to allow people to turn in any audio logs they still have.

On my server there was a collector remaining in Snowden Drifts. All the others are gone.

On Jade Quarry the one in the Diessa Plateau was still there late last week.

from what I heard, the collectors are still exactly where they were, but they are renamed and not on the map. so not obvious, but still possible to turn them in if you know where to look.

I found one of these NPCs in Diessa Plateau just near the momento collector. The NPC did not have an orange icon over his head but had a destroyed sonic periscope at his feet. Was able to right click on him and turn my audio logs into him a few days ago.

I’ve spotted plenty lately. Was quite annoying. However they were all in shiverpeaks starting area (forgot the name).

I turned mine in in Diessa Plateau right outside the Black Citadel. The NPC no longer had any indication of what he did anymore, though. He was a Charr standing next to the Living Story info guy.
