Guild Wars 2

Hey all!

I’ve recently come back to GW2 – Mainly because the New Expansion just drew me back in. I used to play GW2 but only touched on level 48 then dropped the game due to work hours.

I used to play a Mesmer but upon coming back to the game have decided I will dabble in the Thief.

Now I only really need some questions answered so decided general discussion the best place to ask…sorry if I decided wrong ^^

- The Thief – Is it good at both PvP and PvE?
- Upon coming back I heard about the Isles of Mists which apparently gets you to 80 really fast…. if this is true is it still viable? I don’t mind questing up at all but a jump to 45 would be great!
- Lastly if anyone could give me some tips about the best things to do at 80 to jump into pve and pvp that’d be great!

-Thief is a very powerful class, a good thief is typically used in all parts of the game.
-Edge of the Mists is a good way to level, but you haven’t done map completion yet which is a good way to level, but can be boring if you’re doing it over and over again.
-If you want to play how you want and experience the game, don’t be afraid to try new things and don’t worry about what people do or say. But if you want to be told how to play, check out the builds on Metabattle.com
