I know that there are a few kinds of bags and chests that I should save to open on a level kitten character to maximize profit from it…I was just wondering, which bags/chests are they? There are ones from Verdant Brink, Silverwastes, Auric Basin, Dragon’s Stand, Tangled Depths, and pretty much everywhere else in the game….which ones actually give different output based on what level you open them at? Thank in advance!

all loot bags will give you gear according to the opener’s level (except named exotics that are always lvl80) and materials according to the lootbag’s level

That’s not true.

• Several types of pvp bags that drop from reward tracks drop L80 loot, regardless of the opener’s level.
• Several types of consolidated loot from the new maps also drop L80 loot, regardless of who opens.
• Finally, only the named exotics specific to the champion bag drop for low- or mid-tier toons; they will not get precursors or any other exotics (named or otherwise).

When opening Embroidered Coin Purses (obtained from Lost Bandit Chests in the Silverwastes) on my lvl 30 and lvl 50 toons, I’ve gotten fine/masterwork gear appropriate to the lvl on the toon opening them… but I’ve also gotten T5 and T6 crafting mats.

Bags of Masterwork/Rare Gear likewise gives masterwork/rare weapons and armor appropriate to the level of the character opening them.
