Bandicam
Try nVidia Shadowplay since you have a GTX770. I used to record videos using Hypercam 2, which is similar in function to Bandicam, and it was CPU intensive. Now I record videos using the Shadowplay as it’s not as CPU intensive as other software screen recorders. I even tried Fraps, I found that Shadowplay is still better. Recordings of gameplay can reach up to hundreds of megabytes though, so may need to edit or delete videos you do not need or want.
I use Bandicam on occasion. I have not had an issue with FPS loss while recording other games, but I do not make extremely high quality recordings and never record GW2.
As GW2 is heavily CPU-bound, you should consider Hax’ suggestion of a less CPU-intensive recorder such as Shadowplay.
Otherwise, I could only suggest that you try to cut back on the areas you can stand to have lower and see if it makes a difference for you.
Such as:
Do you really need it to be 1080p or can you settle for lower?
Maybe try 30fps instead of 60 and see if fps loss while recording is lower and the video quality tolerable.
Perhaps try to lower the sound quality and see if there is less of an fps issue without sacrificing much sound quality.

Thanks! I tried out Shadowplay and it works perfectly. No fps loss at all, even at 60fps capture.
any recommendations for AMD cards?
I was mostly using Dxtory with Lagarith Lossless Codec – worked fine for me average fps loss of 5. (4770k & 7970)
I use the new build in record option from windows 10, works very well and is easy
any recommendations for AMD cards?
There is an AMD version of Shadowplay, GVR or something, which should come included with their version of Geforce Experience, AMD Gaming Evolved. It’s best to use that if your card supports it as it uses the hardware encoding to not hit fps. There are lots of decent software options like MSI Afterburner but they reduce FPS a lot more.
I’d like to try an AMD card myself on my 2016 upgrade, but the Shadowplay feature of nVidia is just too good for me to try out the competition (I record videos often as game memories of some sort). I didn’t know about AMD’s GVR until now, thanks for this info.
MSI Afterburner works for AMD as well as Nvidia. It shouldn’t reduce FPS as it works in the same way as Shadowplay. Don’t get the version from MSI though, get the Guru3D version: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-download.html
Another decent free option that doesn’t reduce FPS and works on both Nvidia/AMD is Open Broadcaster Software: https://obsproject.com/
If you want absolute zero impact on FPS you can use Intel QuickSync, if your CPU supports it. QuickSync can be used by Afterburner and OBS. It can be slightly more confusing to setup though.

Nah, MSI Afterburner hits FPS a lot more. Example here > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgCbqSb5zjE .
The Shadowplay method is different – it can capture from the frame buffer directly. Explanation here > http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=4687310#post4687310
