Is there a bank NPC (or crafting station) anywhere in Orr? I haven’t been able to find any so I thought I’d ask here in case I missed it, since those don’t always show up on the map.

There isn’t. There is , however, a Trading Post NPC:

I think The Grove is the closest to port to and they, unlike Hoelbrak, have the bank, the tp and the craft stations nice and close to one another. You can always port back when you are done. It’s only a few silvers.

I always go to Lion’s Arch through the mists and once done take a portal to the Grove and WP from there. Saves half the cost.

I prefer:
Go to WvW Bank/Tp then logoff/in
No Cost and less time needed…

you dont even have to log off, just after you done in wvw, go to heart of the mist and then back out from there via the button in the spvp window should work too

Yeah but then you are in la and have to port back to orr.
With logoff you are directly back in orr without porting and porting cost.

Or ist there a way getting back from the mist to your old place ?

I use the personal bank, guild bank, and trading post in WvW, when they are available. It’s very usefull to have access to these no matter where you are in the world. And then I just go to the character selection screen then play character (or go to the Mists) to return to where I was.

yeah really handy… except when your borderland got a queue (sadly happen most of the times for own borderland+EB on my server during peak time
