Guild Wars 2

I was wondering what happens when you are defeated, and you have no money to teleport to a waypoint. I read the wiki page on this and it said that it is waived. My dictionary defines waive as “lose the right” to something. This obviously doesn’t work in the wiki’s context since it wouldn’t allow the player to come back to life, so what does this mean?

“To clarify, you’ll always pay the small death fee to go back to a waypoint. The only exception is if you’re completely broke and have zero money (on your person and in your bank). Then you’ll resurrect for free. This situation is probably pretty unlikely, though. "

Ah thanks. I guess the reason you would have no money is because you are playing with a new character, which makes it okay to resurrect with no cost.
