Best 3-man Team Combinations?
First off all, I wonder why you are asking it. In some games there are really big advantages for having certain combos (healer/tank/dps for example). But in this game these advantages are so slim you can actually just play what you like.
To answer your question, a combo off engineer/guardian/ele would make a good combo off different classes. The reason is that they all can have a protective role, you get good melee damage, you get good dps, and you get good cc.
But then again, at the moment, warrior is a bit OP, so running with three warriors is just as effective.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
for pve you would need at least 1 warrior, as banners are just too good to give up and stacks with any other damage buffs
also would want some way to sustain constant fury and might stacks via fire field/blast combo (warrior/ele/engi for fire fields)
and depending on the content you might want some projectile reflection/destruction (guard/mesm/ele)
but because facerolling is just too mainstream, you might as well just pick whatever classes are fun for you, and roll with them
P.S. i’d go for warrior/ele/mesmer
I don’t like to run to much low armor classes so i would go for war/guard/ele. Nice dmg, good AoE, alot of boons. I would never choose engi because i really dislike that profession, it just doesn’t work for me.
My husband and I sometimes run a guardian and ranger combo. They work really well together.
Any combination of classes will work as long as the people controlling them knows what they are doing. That is basically a summary of a bunch of different things in GW2.
Much like anyone above me has stated you can pretty much use anyone you want they don’t make a big diff.
The only thing i would consider (if you really want to get into it) is cross proff combos. So picking classes that have a lot of combo fields and combo finishes.
(EX: Staff Ele for the water fields and SB Thief for Blast Finishers)
The best way to play is with good team mates.
You and your team mates must Coordinate ((Control)) while Contributing ((Damage)) and being able to ((Support)) each other.
If everyone in your team knows how to coordinate together with the 3 combat mechanics, Damage/Control/Support then you guys are off to a good start.
Next is the matter of building a good strategy!
