Guild Wars 2

I have a sneaking suspicion its Warriors but thought I would ask.

I mostly care about PvE but I am also interested about your thoughts on WvW too.

Axe using classes:

Warrior
Ranger
Necro

I really like the Frost fang but I am unsure who uses Axes to the best, so i thought i would ask!

I’m getting Frostfang for ranger, though I do use axe/axe on war. Ranger focuses more on condition damage, while war is pure power, similar to the necro’s version.
If you can’t tell, I’m ranger biased, so I’ll just add that range has more of an aoe theme with both axes, but war has a couple of aoes too (2 and 5). Necro only has the skill 3 aoe. They all seem to share a crippling type of move also (chill for ranger)

Rangers axes are pretty good if you get a group, other then that nope, I’d say warrior is the best though.

Axe mainhand is great for Warriors.

Axe offhand is rather lackluster.

Warrior for sure.

The necro axe is really only for niche purposes and is outclassed by other weapons.

The ranger axe is outclassed by piercing arrow SB

However, the warrior axe can compete with the GS as the top DPS weapon

Axe/Mace Warrior is Best Warrior.
