Which is better? The guild backpack (Lets say the assassin) or the back item at the end of story quest. I also read that the back item from the story said can hold an extra upgrade, what does that mean? 2 jewels on it?

I have the back piece from the end of the story quest. The item notes say it can hold an additional upgrade but that just means in addition to the upgrade the back piece gives you. It only has one upgrade slot.

I haven’t checked out the guild backpack.

guild pack is yellow quality (which will always be better than green). It costs 5 gold.

Guild backback is indeed little better, but by only a very small margin. It’s your choice if you want to spend that 5g to “100% maxing-out” your character stats.

The backpack is indeed better, but not by much. It costs five gold, however it’s an actual backpack with your guild logo while the back piece from story is not visible.
