Best Choice for 3 monitor setup?
That’s a pretty big desk.
Anyway, you want the lowest ms-milisecond times possible and the highest refresh rate (hz). Other than that you can pick and choose what other features you want and what brand you want.
(hz) comes in 60, 120, and 240 flavors.
(ms) comes in 8, 6, 4, 2 flavors.
If you want 3D (glasses type) you will need 120 or higher on the hz and less than 4 on the ms.

Dont plan to run 3D, a friend has it on his computer and all it does is give me a headache.
A different friend recommended i pick up 3 of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236096

Personally im leaning more towards the ASUS one simply due to the size of the stand (its alot smaller than the one on the HP screen.

Does your video card have a D-Sub (15 pin) connection?
The monitors you selected only have DVI and D-Sub connections.
I have 3 Benq XL2420T monitors.
Might be overkill if you don’t need the 3D… but GW2 looks pretty nice across the three screens! I get about 50-60 fps on 2D mode (with a single 680 gtx) with all settings maxed. That’s just general PvE, haven’t tried WvW since the culling was removed….
Just a side note, the Tech Support forums might be another solid place to ask.
Other than that, contrast ratios are kinda important. They’re hard to compare brand Y vs brand X though because of the different tests and standards different companies use.

The ones you linked in your 2nd post are both 1680×1050. Even though I wouldn’t suggest running triple monitors for gaming, rather a single 27-30" 2560×1440, 1920×1080 (at min) monitors would be better imo.
To get around desk space, run them in portrait?
While I do not want to discourage anyone from any particular type of setup, there are a few points to note!
First, it is known that ATI eyefinity is not fully supported in GW2 but, I could be corrected on this, Nvidia surround is supported.
I do not have a multi screen Nvidia surround setup so cannot properly comment on such.
My system has three monitors in a 3*1 eyefinity setup with switchable presets – eyefinity when gaming for example. Presets are made / used through the ATI control panel.
What you need for eyefinity:
An eyefinity compatible graphics card – see the ATI web site for a list.
Multiple monitors – three will do for gaming.
At least one monitor must be DP (DisplayPort) compatible or you must get a DP adapter – preferably active – these can be found reasonably cheaply online.
A mid to high end PC is preferable. That said, my aging AMD Phenom II x6 rig runs the game very well in single screen and acceptably well in eyefinity.
Notes on eyefinity with GW2:
You CAN already play GW2 very well over three monitors (mine are in landscape) but there are a few problems;
Character selection / creation is not scaled / centred correctly.
Cut scenes are not centred / scaled correctly.
UI (HUD) elements are placed to the outer edges of the outer monitors not centred on the centre monitor and immobile.
Other than that, you can play with eyefinity across three monitors.
Some of us forum users are asking Anet for a legitimate fix for the eyefinity issues.
There are third party utilities to resolve the eyefinity issues but, and this is a BIG BUT, you use them entirely at your own risk. I do not suggest that anyone use the third party solutions. Anet have given a response about the third party solutions – basically use at your own risk. There are T&C / user agreement issues relating to third party solutions!
I hope this is of some help at least.
Edit:
Forgot to say, my monitors are all Hanns-G HH241 – kinda budget – but still give great results.
Also; remember that multi monitor use (widescreen gaming) will have an impact on your in game FPS no matter what equipment you use – sometimes up to halving your FPS.

Yea my Vid-card has DVI outs =)
Hallo again,
Which version of multi monitor support do you think you will be going for?
You say “Yea my Vid-card has DVI outs =)” but I have not seen mention of which card you have!
Are you using Nvidia or ATI?
Though your card may have three video outputs, is it able to output from all three at the same time or just either two of the three at once? A friend of mine got ‘burnt’ when he bought a video card that the seller claimed was ‘eyefinity’ capable but it turned out that only two of the three video outputs could be used simultaneously. That friend was well peeved when he could not get an exchange or money back from that unscrupulous dealer!
Remember that you need either a DP enabled (DP port) monitor or you will need a DP to whichever port on the monitor adapter if you are using eyefinity.
The links below will provide you with the information you need depending on your video card.
