Guild Wars 2

Hey guys! I recently started playing GW2, playing on Blacktide and noticed today that the majority aren’t speaking english which is an issue for me sadly.

I’m still in the lower levels, currently level 29, so I haven’t tried out WvW, it isn’t my top priority and my biggest intrest, but I’ll most likely get into that in the later levels. As of right now I would love to play on a world with a good english speaking community where the people are active aswell as many with events and just PvE in general.

Do any of you guys have any tips or recommendations for a newbie?

I can’t vouch for the other servers but I know emrhy bay has been pretty nice to me for what I was looking or with pve. We’re not half bad in WvW either for if/when you decide to try that out too. Are you looking for an rp server or just general pve stuff?

Uuhhhm Blacktide is EU and Ehmry is NA server. The Op might have a problem with the time difference.

I have been playing on Gandarra since the start. The main language is English and although there are some non english guilds they restrain themselfes mostly from talking non-english in map chat. We even had an Italian guild recruiting in Italian and always ending always with the very polite ‘Sorry for spam in Italian’.

I have been guesting to other EU servers and where always shocked with the tone and attitude in map chat. I’m not saying it is bad on other servers, but it is even more friendlier on Gandarra. Off course we have some rotten apples, but the community is really good in taking care of those.
