Hi all,

I just got my first ascended weapon chest drop ever. Unfortunately, its for a rampager weapon. According to the inscription, it allows you to choose your own type of weapon so I want to give this chest to a character that can make the most out of rampager stats. I play all 8 classes but have no experience with using rampager gear. Thus, I was hoping someone more knowledgeable might offer some insight concerning which class can benefit the most from using rampager gear. I realize that with this game everything is situational, so any context would be helpful like if you are referring to pve or pvp.

Professions that can best make use of condition builds would benefit the most from Rampager gear. PvE being a power meta you won’t find much use for it there. If theres a WvW profession you like to use Condi builds on you can try that.Though if you were running a condi build it would be better to have the primary Condition damage prefixes (Carrion/Rabid/Dire) instead.

I feel a nerf coming up.. XD

Necros perform well with rampager equipment in some areas of the PvE. Fractals can be done with a hybrid build (6/6/0/0/2) as well as killing husks for the TT mega boss.

Some condi necro romaing builds are in fact hybrid builds as well.

Use it for the skin.

Believable, but oh my, how she would luv zerk or even Valkyrie.

The best use of rampager would be in roaming WvW. A necro, ranger, engineer can be pretty good in condition. Maybe not all rampager, but with a mix of rabid and other stuff it could do the job.
