Guild Wars 2

So I’m not seeing what I’m looking for which is a good guide to gearing my character at 80. I should hit 80 very soon and my first priority is going to be to get a good weapon. Where should I go and what are my options? WvW, dungeons, bosses, gold, karma, crafting?

After I get that weapon where should I go for my armor? They still haven’t made the dungeon tokens work between different dungeons correct? What should I be doing to get my gear? WvW, dungeons, bosses, gold, karma, crafting?

Ideally I wouldn’t want to grind away doing the same thing unless it was WvW but that’s the only way to get a complete set correct?

Sorry for the questions but I feel a little lost and don’t want to waste a lot of time aimlessly doing the wrong things. I’m a warrior too if that’s at all relevant. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

You get 2 high-level exotic items for 100% map completion for Cursed Shore/Malchor`s Leap/Frostgorge plus few more items.Today i`ve been lucky and got very nice 2h exotic sword as reward for finishing Malchor`s Leap.If have all the items you can craft an exotic weapon,alternatively have a look at mystic forge weapons at guild wars 2 wiki-some of them are very cheap to make.For armour-again if have the items can craft,have a look at temple armors-visit temples of gods in Cursed Shore/Malchor`s Leap and Straits of Devastation and make your choice.Also check dungeon vendors in Lion`s Arch.After you make your choice of desired armor/stats/look start working towards it.Dont be afraid of price of temple armor in karma points.It is quite easy to gather all the required karma.But for start craft/buy from TP set of magic find gear and jewellery and if wish so regular set in blue/green.Prices of such gear are very low.Also take a look at all those superior runes of dwayna/noble/pirate/soldier etc.Of course if have the gold TP is full with all kind exotic weapons and armor pieces.
P.S.Take a look of all the items you need to craft a legendary weapon-if you decide you want one well start gathering the items now.But you need lots of items,money,karma points,time,crafting profession(s) at 400 etc.
