Started playing again and noticed that with the destruction of LA, was the convenience of retraiting right near a waypoint. Where’s the most convenient place to retrait currently (for all classes) that I could use until the feature patch?

Don’t have anymore tickets to airship and I’m not spending real $$$ to BUY access.
LA was free to do all that you required. As I implied—give free access to the airship (or move crafting stations to the ‘hub’).

WvW is probably the best bet. You can access it from anywhere and go right back to where you were afterwards and there’s a re-trainer in all of the bases. (Including the Edge of the Mists, meaning you can get there even if there’s a queue for all the main maps.)

Yeah sure. It’s just missing minor stuff like crafting stations and that requested retrainer…

For those two, Ebonhawke or WvW are the best choices.

I use the one in Black Citadel. i think its closer (wp next to it).

I agree that Vigil is better than LA was (in terms of proximity of everything). Selling access to crafting IS a questionable practice (but I get they have to sell gems….but I’m not paying for that when I can craft elsewhere for free).

I DO wish they would install a direct portal from Vigil to Ebonhawke as it certainly has the most user friendly crafting area in the game.

Press B and go to Edge of the Mists, there never seems to be a queue there. Depending where you spawn the re-traiter is right in front of you, or up the stairs, (I don’t know about the other spawn)

You can then press B again, and there’s an arrow on the bottom right of that window that you can click to go back to PvE.

Edge of the Mist never has a queue. If there is then it’s a bug.
Unlike the other WvW maps there are multiple instances of it.

You can retrait the PVE traits in edge of the mists ? Is there an option somewhere to switch from the PvP-Traits to PvE ?

You’re confusing the Heart of the Mist with the Edge of the Mist…

Ah .. ok .. since i don’t PvP at all i didn’t even know how to get to Edge of the Mist. I just knew the old trick for free porting to LA via Heart of the Mists and thought that was meant
