Guild Wars 2

Id like to have one profession that I only use for making gold. In every MMO I have played I always had one class that made all of the gold used to support my other characters and thats all they were used for. When I needed gold I logged on them. Whats the best class to fit this role and whats the best way to go about farming? Would a Warrior be better than everyone else? They seem to be wanted in all dungeon speed runs which seem like good gold as well as being able to just roam around soloing stuff without coming close to dying.

Engineer for me. Other opinion may differ.

Totally dependent on the players playstyle, everyone will have their favourite profession for doing that sort of thing, and there will be someone claiming each different profession.

They can all do it, and while certain profs fill certain roles (I for one always feel safer when theres a shield wearing soldier profession running ahead of me in dungeons) I’ve never been refused into a group due to not being a certain profession and I’ve completed dungeons with all sorts of group builds.

Guardian or Warrior. High dps high survival.

Ranger is awesome and fun for pve solo / farming.
