Serious question. I keep coming back to this game only to waste time and sometimes money and end up disappointed. So I’ve decided, I need to quit PERMANENTLY and the only way to do that is to completely lose my account. I could go on and on about how bad the game is, what I wish ANet would’ve done instead of handling the game like they did like most quitters seem to, but that’s not what I want. I just want to never be tempted to come back to this game again. I tried deleting all my characters, that didn’t work I just started making new ones. I can’t give away my account because I’ve used the email for a lot of other things, so here I am left with one option.

So, what’s the best way to kitten off the Arenanet overlords?

Learning/building self control and accepting you own limitation would be a better option.

Deleted my email too, I only used it for other games anyways (not any Ill miss lol…)

open a ticket with customer support explaining the situation and perhaps they can help you. without you needing to buy gold.

No, you can have more. You can tell yourself you aren’t going to play GW2 anymore and then not play it anymore. Even if GW2 is still installed on your computer and even if you aren’t banned.

You’re asking ANet to permaban you so that you do not have to control yourself.

Best way to never play the game again is to give all your stuff away and delete your characters. That way when you try and come back you won’t want to because of all the work. Plus someone out there gets to use your stuff and recycle your character names.

You do not need to get banned – just give me all your stuff + delete your toons and you will have no reason to come back

The guy said he already “deleted his email” and switched to a randomized password. So, I don’t think he’ll see any of your responses.
