making mystic weapons is a great way to utilize your skill points.

He means making mystic weapons, which require 50 skillpoints for the elridtch scroll. This is a good idea, I’ve sold 3 mystic weapons so far (through chat to avoid stupid taxes) and you make about 3-4g profit from the mats alone. But you probably make less since you are basically selling your time (to level up to get those 50 skillpoints) so doing this is more like making money on the side while you do other stuff (like I run dungeons for the karma but I do get exp so I just put it into mystics)
Aren’t mystic weapons soulbound? Guess I misread. Or perhaps just a wiki error on the one I looked at.

Not soulbound, you’re mistaken. A quick search on TP would show you that.
Except that I’m not in game and I looked instead on the wiki. I clicked on the eldritch scroll and saw soulbound and made an error applying that to the weapon. Forgot that I looked at the scroll.

the scroll is definitely soulbound, but thee resulting weapon is not. THere are other items that you can use with the scroll which might be profitable :P
