Hi guys, didnt know if i should put it here or in elementalist section but i guess it can happen on any class.
I was tring sceptre warhorn elementalist. Used 2,5,3 in fire at start of te rotation and got 6 might (as expected) but after overload air i again used 2,5,3 but instead of might i got swiftness (as if i was blasting lighting field which was under the fire field). Then i tried overload air folowed by wildfire and after it fully apeared blasting it with 2 and 3, still i got swiftness. Can someone explain to me why this happen? Does lighting field have priority over fire?

I believe the oldest field takes precedence if you have 2 (or more) fields active in the same place at the same time. So because you’re using Air Overload first, its going to be the one that gets blasted until it dissipates.

Best bet is probably to wait a few seconds to let the Air Overload run its course and go away before you start your rotation again.

Overload Air leaves a big lightning field that your 2 blasted on. So for my case I tend to use 5, 2, 3 to ensure I have a fire field that these skills land on.

Blast combos occur on the most RECENT field the finisher lands on, and your Overload Air lightning field happens to be just that. On the other hand, the lightning field seems to update itself every half-second which could make it the most recent field, overwriting the fire field from Wildfire.

I assume you are using scepter main, as 2+3 on that are blast finishers. I need to test.
