Bleading, how it works?
I have wondered this as well
they all have same dps.
115/4 = 28.75 dps
200/7 = 28.57 dps
571/10 = 57.1 dps
1713/30 = 57.1 dps
I would guess the 57.1 dps ones just count as 2 stacks. (57.1/2=28.55)
yep they are double stacks
Copied from my response to your other post ZtriDer:
Bleeding stacks in intensity, so if you use two 4s bleeding skills back-to-back, the duration remains 4 seconds but the damage per tick doubles.

This should not be confused with burning, where the duration stacks and the intensity is constant (e.g., two 4s burns back-to-back results in an 8 second burn for the same damage each tick)

I could be wrong here, but that’s how I understand it.
Also, to the OP, check the wiki first. Often times answers to some of these questions are easily found (the wiki page includes the dmg calculation formula to boot, so you can estimate how much +condition dmg stats will increase your tick #’s).
Legion of Anvil Rock [XXIV] – Anvil Rock
So, bleeding, I have 5 for different bleeding abilities.
Rending Curse: 4 sec, 115 damage.
Blood Curse: 4 sec, 115 damage.
Grasping Dead: 7 sec, 200 damage.
Enfeebling Blood: 10 sec, 571 damage.
Blood Power: 30 sec, 1713 damage.
Bleeding dot from crit: Dont know anyting about it.How com all off this stack up in 1 damaging condition on the target? How can this actually stack up and work? I can’t see how this work at all since all of them, more or less, have different damage and duration.
Anyone who can enlighten me please?
Good question.
What the tooltip isn’t telling you is that all bleeds deal a fixed amount of damage. It only looks like different damage-per-second, but actually it’s not. Check it out:
Rending Curse – 4 seconds – 115 Damage. That’s ~28.75 damage per second.
Grasping Dead – 7 Seconds – 200 Damage. That’s ~28.5 damage per second. (Something probably rounded off)
Enfeebling Blood – 10 Seconds – 571 damage. That should be ~57.1 damage per second, right? Nope. Remember, Enfeebling Blood adds two stacks of Bleeding. So take 57.1 and divide it by half and you get about 28.5 or 28.6 damage per second.
There’s a strict formula for how Bleeding works:
One stack of Bleeding will always deal: 2.5 + 0.5 * Lvl + 0.05 * Condition Damage per second.
So if you’re level 80 with, say, 200 condition damage, that’s: 2.5 + 40 + 10 damage per second, or 52.5 DPS. If you’re Level 80 with 600 condition damage, that’s: 2.5 + 40 + 30 or 72.5 DPS.
Condition damage doesn’t actually scale well (5%) with bleeding. The upside is that bleeding will stack up to 25 times in intensity. Conversely, Condition damage scales better with Poison and Burning (10% and 25% respectively), but these conditions stack duration, rather than intensity.
