I picked up a set of major agony runes, but when applied to the armor the bleed durations stays the same.
Are these bugged runes? or is there a cap on max bleed duration?

Bleed stacks in intensity, not duration.

(So do confusion and vulnerability for future reference, the rest stack in duration)

the agony sigils is what you apply on weapons and to my knowledge it does not only work but also stack, ie: one sigil in the main hand and offhand both increase the duration.
the sigils even change the tool tip of skills to reflect the changes.

if you indeed meant runes, like runes of affliction, which you apply to your armor.
they do work too, however these changes are not reflected in the tool tip.
you can easily test that by going in to the mists.
take for example a necro dagger offhand 5, it’s called enfeebling blood and applies a pretty long bleed.
runes of the afflicted, centaure and krait all have a 15% bleed increase as a two set bonus.
with 15% it’s still pretty hard to see the difference but if you stack them all (45% increase) you’ll see a pretty hefty increase in duration.

ooo, didn’t know tooltip isn’t updated. I thought it was as the warrior trait skill does show a change in the tooltip. 50% seemed like quite a lot, so thought adding more might be hitting a max cap or something.
Hope that is something on their list for the future.

Edit: and yes i meant afflicted runes, was getting little confused by the shear number of runes and sigils lol.

I heard on buildcast that the duration of bleeds is rounded down to the lowest second. So it’s possible to waste rune slots on bleed duration that wont make a difference and it’s better to stack in intensity instead.

The example they gave was that if, for instance, you had a 5 second bleed and 20% bleed duration increase then your bleed would last 6 seconds. But if you had a 20.5%
duration increase, your bleed still only lasts 6 seconds. Meaning unless you can rune to a full second duration increase, use the slots for something else.
