Bleeding/DoT spells?
There’s two types of damage. Direct and Conditional.
DoTs are only affected by condition damage, but ignore the target’s armor and cannot crit. Their damage is always the same and cannot miss.
Anything that says it increases damage dealt or damage taken only affects direct damage.
You can extend the effects and how much damage they do through your traits tree
Condition damage —- increases said damage
Condition duration —- increases how long the condition stays active.

While as the others said condition damage can’t crit it does NOT mean however taht crit chance is useless, far from, since most if not all classes have a trait that allow them to apply a certain condition with a certain chance upon crits (necros for instance have 66% chance to apply bleeding when they crit, and mesmer can make illusions always apply bleed when they crit, those are the 2 i know on top of my head but im pretty sure most if not all have something similar)
