Hi there,

Sorry if there already is a topic about this, the only one I could find is 5 months old.

So as the title states, does anyone know of a Torch with a blue flame? One that would look good with Frostfang on Abyss and Celestial dye, so either very dark with blue flame, or blue/white with blue flame. This leaves xenith flame out of the equation. Also, I’m a WvWer and HATE dungeons. I’ll do any but fractals though :>

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

There is a karma torch with a bue flame. Forward Scout Greta sells it. The handle might not be to your taste but you can check it out. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Forward_Scout_Greta

Heart of the mists → pvp locker → preview torches with “weapon only” or “wielded” selected.

There are a few named exotic torches that aren’t visible in the pvp locker but it should almost all of them.

Actually, pretty sure it’s not blue. I looked at it a long time ago and it was nothing special.

doesn’t the sylvari T3 torch have blue flame too? The torch itself looks kinda lame though

All blue torches have been mentioned above. I don’t know the color of the flames on the vigil’s torch, but if it’s white it would be perfect for the color scheme on which you appear to be set.

The only other torch I can think of that goes with the design of your axe is the corrupted wartorch, although the flame on that is yellow.

The Ascalon Catacombs torch has a blue flame at night, but it’s yellow during the day.

The Zenith torch from the achievement rewards has a blue flame too.

The fractal torch looks so insanely good I guess I have to sit through the punishment to get it..

Any advice on how and when to get a drop like this though?

Random drop in higher levels of the Fractals of the Mists.

You might want to use the zenith torch or some other torch skin as a place holder till you get it. It may take a while.

Any elaboration on what exactly can be classified as “higher levels of the Fractals of the Mists”? As well as how often do these drop and advice on how to etc etc :p

I’d roll up to 48 to be for sure. But anything 28 and above should get you a fractal skin at a small percentage (daily chest). So you can repeat 28 and 38 and 48 or so (any even for each tier) to try to get the skin.
