I am fairly new to crafting, even though I have every profession maxed out. >.>
Anyways, my question to you kind people is:

How much does it cost to make one Bolt of Damask?
I see that it is roughly 14.5g on the TP and would rather craft my own if it is cheaper, but I also wouldn’t mind buying the mats to make Damask if it’s cheaper.

You can save a little bit more by “buying” linen scraps with karma (if you have lots of that and don’t need it for anything else), i.e. getting the gloves from the charr south of Lion’s Arch, tossing them in the forge and salvaging them. Takes a little more time, but saves you 1.8g for each bolt of damask.

You need to put them in the Mystic forge to get some salvageable stuff.

Haha, oops! I went to the forge and combined em, it worked! Sorry lol

alternate method of getting those mid-tier cloth mats:

get a bunch of bags from the silverwastes. do not open them. put them in your bank.

get on another character that’s in the level 35-55 range. open the bags on that character.

profit.

Run Twilight Arbor up & forward once a day, that’ll get you a good amount of linen and cotten, salvage all your light-armor drops for easy silk, wool is the only kittene to get.
