Yea so the botting going on in the Dragonbrand server is ridiculous. I’ve reported these people DAILY and they are still in the same spot doing the same thing.

I am inviting a Dev to come right now to the broken bridge in Halacon Cataracts in Kessex Hills on the Dragonbrand server (not overflow) and witness these people and how they are obnoxiously exploiting your game systems and botting with no regard for anyone.

I have reported these people on a daily basis and nothing has been done. And quite frankly, I’m sick of it. I’m sick of seeing them powerlevel while I am out actually following the rules. This isn’t QQ, because I’m not jealous… I am just disappointed that this issue isn’t being taken seriously.

I’m sure Anet is working on systems to detect these botters automatically and ban them as well… it will take some time. Just keep reporting them. Anet is constantly dealing with a lot of other game/account issues — their queues are probably pretty backed up with tickets.

I know they are busy with a lot of important stuff, I just feel this is just as important. These people are literally running rampant doing whatever they feel like.

*Also, seeing how many people are doing this, and how often I come across it..really makes me -feel- like I am playing a game that is broken and has no control.

I feel your pain. I can’t stand botters either. Eventually, probably sooner than later, ANET will do the same to them that they did to 3000 accts exploiting a vendor bug. The ban hammer was swung hard. Trust them to accumulate names and deal justice.

Usually what they will do is amass a huge slew of accounts, and then ban them all at once during an update… but until then, they will still run rampant.

and updates are pretty frequent as of late so i would not be surprise that Anet will ban alot of accounts in the near future.

You’re not alone, i’ve seen a ton of botters in the same spots for the last week, reported them and nothing has happened to them at all… So I just stopped caring, this game is broken right now and I guess they’re trying to fix other issues than people making real profit off their game with outside sources.

Anet isn’t a big company, it’s going to take them awhile to fix everything. Best bet is if it annoys you bad enough just stop playing for about a year or so until they level things out and if there is still a community come back and enjoy, either that or ignore them.
