Guild Wars 2

I went to the Trait Vendor to buy the Revealed Training trait for my Thief since I don’t want to bother with the event on Orr. But in the Trait Menu it still tells me that I first need to unlock this trait. Rechecking the vendor it doesn’t display the red text “This trait has already been unlocked.” on the trait, but at the same time it doesn’t let me buy it again (tells me I already got it unlocked). Is this a bug or am I missing something?

You used the book the NPC gives?
When you buy the trait from the NPC it doesn’t unlock the trait automatically, it gives an item and after consuming it the trait unlocks.

That’s so unnecessarily stupid. What’s the point in giving the book when it could be unlocked automatically? Oh well…
