Hmm, I bought a lvl20 masterwork breather from the TP. It has an upgrade slot.
However, my major rune of water cannot be equipped on it?

From elsewhere on this forum I’ve seen people talking about runes on breathers, so it seems it can be done. So what’s going on?

A Major rune requires a lv39+ item.

Hmm…seems you have your answer inside of your question.

You can’t put a level 39 Rune into a level 20 item.
