Can someone explain to me why after more than a year since release we still don’t have exotic version of breathing apparatus?

Furthermore we cant choose combination of stats that we want to use and just two different skin choices. Also we just cant craft it or make better version in mystic forge.

So whenever we go underwater we loose some (sometimes all) important stats. Small difference in stats (like between exotic and ascended) makes all the difference in all other pieces of equipment and yet breathing apparatus is forgotten since the start.

Why is that?

It’s a good question. However, underwater combat isn’t really a big thing in this game. There is lots of water, but most everything in it is just map complete stuff (i.e. vistas/sp/wp). So, it’s not like you really need the extra stat boosts.

Honestly I consider us lucky to have had Rare breathing apparatuses made available, and honestly the stat combo for that is a heck of a lot better than the Gavbeorn. As for skins, besides the skins for both of those masks, there IS a Consortium skin that you can get from the TP, and it’s pretty cheap… though honestly it’s ugly as heck.

I love underwater, we need more content for underwater.
