I personally love my warrior, but that aside. If you want a more dynamic class which you need to move around and fight I’d suggest thief or elementlist . Elementlist can actually get pretty tanky at higher levels. Thiefs are just fun cause they can be all stealthy and high DPS.

Ele and mes are both solid choices that have very different play styles. Try them both out to like 20-30 and see which you like more. Ele will likely be more difficult to get the hang of at first.

Pretty tanky at higher levels, hm? My only real problem with it is the constnatly dying while I’m just trying to quest.

This is NOT going to be any help….
I like every class and play each depending on my mood and task. Some classes are easier to play, some do more damage and some are more survivable.
It really depends on what you are planning to do in game which you do not state in your post. PvP? WvW? PvE? Everything?

FYI, mesmer and elem. remain sqishy until lvl 40+. So do not get discouraged there.

I plan to PvE. I’m not big into PvP, but then again I’ve never tried it in GW2, so having the side ability to maybe try it someday wouldn’t hurt, but in all games i’m majorly focused on PvE. ^^

What exactly is thief like? It might be fun to be a human thief…

No offense, but 6 of this exact thread pop up every day. Literally.

It might aid you to do a small search or just a visual one and read the advice everyone has given over and over every time this question is asked.

I say that because the lack of responses may be due to folks growing weary of going through the same question and thread multiple times daily.
