happened in different dungeon already….
first run with guard, 60 token…. second run with mesmer, 30 token……. third run with warrior, 30 token…. and only ~12s happened a few times now, probably 500 token +gold r missing…. still no fix? come on….

wrong! plz stop writing bs…. first run with every character gives u 60 token. and im just running this dungeon and path once a day with every character….. need to equip 3 chars, so nothing wrong with that….
and if its working as intended, third run shouldnt give me 30 token…..

this says nothing about 30 token at all…. and first run after reset gave me also just 30….

“So a group of us just did CoF Path 1 so 60 tokens. We changed to alt characters, ran CoF Path 1 again, but this time 3 out of the 5 people in the group only received 30 tokens. The other 2 received 60. Same group of 5 people though so I am not sure if this was intended.”

This isn’t a bug. The “Swapping Characters” doesn’t work anymore. DR for dungeons is account bound now. So the way it works is even though you got 60 on another character, when you run the SAME path again with a different character, DR still kicks in but it will take it out of the “Daily Token Reward” you are supposed to get.

I’ve done the runs plenty of times to know this isn’t a bug. To get around it, run the dungeon on the one character til you hit 5 tokens, wait about an hour. Use another character. You will not get the DR on your second character (Should get full 60 tokens), Rinse and Repeat. This is correct, you just aren’t paying attention.

If you complete two or more dungeon paths in half an hour, you’ll get hit by DR and receive half reward for both token and silver. It isn’t documented on the wiki, but on many past threads this has been discussed for countless times, and I have personally encounter this a few times before, so I assume it is true. I would suggest writing a support ticket for more precise info, but no one (either grinders or Anet) would really bother with this kind of question.

Either it’s a bug or this work around is. You can avoid the problem leaving the party. Switching characters. And rejoining the party. Then you should get the full 60 on the new character.

It’s obviously not working as intended if players are experiencing inconsistent results from running the same dungeon (in this case, CoF).

I’ve run CoF paths 1+2 with three of my characters (six paths total) back-to-back (didn’t need to wait for DR to reset as long as I changed characters) almost every night for the past two weeks. Paths 1+2 can easily both be completed within 30 minutes. For all but one of those runs, I received the full reward for the dungeon. The one exception was a random run where my guardian only received 30 tokens, and I am certain that the daily timer had reset.

Now, if DR is intended to affect alts, then I should have been receiving 30 tokens on characters 2 and 3 for the entire 2 weeks. If DR is not intended to affect alts, then I should have received all 60 tokens for the run my guardian completed. The third opinion I have heard is that the DR resets for alts if you wait a period of time (most commonly cited is 2 hrs, although I haven’t seen any official substantiation of that). However, that has clearly not been the case for the past two weeks.

One way or another, it is not consistent, and therefore I don’t see how it could be working as intended.

Got the same bug today. Last week got 60 tokens with each of my 4 characters even if I ran the same path on the same day. Today I am missing 60 tokens.

false, not working like intended. Sometimes i log on another char and i get the 60 tokens, sometimes not.

I think it has to do with the groupstarter (i remember joining in a farming group and get my tokens reduced.)

This is definitely a bug. I did CoF once a day 2 runs with 2 different character with the following results:

Day: char1 char2
Su: 60 60
Mo: 60 30
Tu: 60 60

how long between finishing the first run and finishing the second?
any dungeons before them?
I have never got an unexpected token amount. sometimes I’m surprised by getting less on p2 after doing p1, but then remember I had completed AC half an hour before doing p1 and figured not enough time had passed.

How long I waited for doing char2 after char1? Few minutes. I usually go in once everyone is ready and I switched my char. Yesterday I got 60 60 again. I have no idea why I got 60 30 on Monday..

I have the 30 tokens too sometimes. However this does not affect Zerk Runners at all since COF P1 can be done 10 times in an hour making at least 8 gold and another 60 Charr Carvings (from the loot bags).
