I want to wear it on my new Ranger but can I re-use it later on when I hit 80 on an exotic?

You would have to use transmution crystals in order to do that, but yes, you can.

Yeah you can. I took the Japanite shell from the Southsun event and put Rox’s quiver over it when I had before put it over a brace.

I got all my trans crystals from doing exploration. I can’t remember exactly where, I think it was either the cities or the areas around them.

The lvl 80 transmute crytals I got were from the personal story line. You will need them to transmute lvl 80 items. You get them from Black lion chests and gem store.The trans stones are for lvls 1-79 and you may get from doing dailies and map completion and gem store.
