I have started to thing about reaching the goal of having a Legendary weapon. Some gifts require lvl 400 in a specific profession. The question is: can I craft these gifts even if my character is not lvl 80? The profession is, of course, maxed.

Yes you can. The only requirement for the gifts is that the crafting profession be maxed out. However, in order to equip the legendary, you’ll need to be level 80.

It’s yes and no. There is no requiment to have lvl80 to craft gift, but then they require mats that are only available in lvl70+ areas. By the time you get for example 250 ori you would be lvl 80.

It’s impossilbe to craft legendary before lvl80. Not becouse hard-coded requiment but simply you will gain enough exp from just exploration to get 80.

I think the OP is probably planning on crafting the gift for her 80 main on a lower level alt that happens to have maxed right profession.

Some recipes in the game do require you to be level 80 to learn them (e.g., the Corrupted set.) However, those recipes have “Required level: 80” clearly displayed on the tooltip. The legendary gifts have no such restriction, and I do in fact have one learned on a sub-80 alt.

My 3 characters lvl 80 do not have the professions required by the Legendary I want so I was wondering if my 4th one could craft the gifts without having to spend a lot of time just to bring him up to lvl 80.

Ah, perfect topic to hijack. I was wondering if Gifts are accountbound or soulbounded? My main doesnt have Weaponsmith maxed but my alt does and I dont feel like leveling my main. So guessing since Niraks wants to craft a Gift on an alt, the gift is account bound. Would love a confirmation.
