Hi,

i have a human elementalist lvl14 and when i approach a juvenile river drake, i can’t charm him.
anybody have an idea on this?
can alimentalists have pets?

No.
Only rangers can tame animals and run around constantly followed by something.

it looks like an elementatlist is not powerful enough compared to other professions

Elementalist is the squishiest combination possible, so when you’re not used to attunement swapping and constant moving in combat, you may feel like it’s weak at early levels; but once you reach level 25 or higher, and have the proper equipments (greens), you can take on 5 to 6 mobs at once with no problems, just like any other professions can do.

The trick with elementalists is to switch elements regularly as needed. Generally speaking fire spells do more damage, but you need to use them all to be effective.
