I’ve heard a bunch of people saying that heals (but not healing skills, the ones that go into the 6th slot ) have an hidden chance to crit that increases with your healing power. I tested for a bit with my 1233 healing power Guardian in SPvP and had no success in having Empower, Altruistic Healing, Orb of Light and mace autoattack to critically heal. Later that day I was doing WvW with one these players and he showed me that sometimes the healing ticks from staff’s symbol (symbols were traited for healing) went from 200 to 500. I looked around on the wiki/internet but found nothing on the matter. Can someone, possibly a dev, enlighten me? I’m very confused :S
I really don’t think they do. It always says how much you will be healed for in the skill descriptions and they never fail to be correct for me. Also if your staff or even greatsword symbol skills hit critical in the damage department for the enemy it will still have a seperate healing amount for you. Remember green is healing white is damage.
I’m not saying that the chance is related to precision, or related to damage. I’m asking if there’s a separate crit chance for heals, governed by healing power attribute. If not, then why some of the ticks from that symbol where 500 rather than 200? P.s. I made sure not to have regen, soothing mist or my F2 active.
