I’m wondering if I can soulbind and use an exotic shaman etched sword that I may later plan to use to make a corrupted weapon or will I be unable to place it in the forge once I soulbind it?

Easy way to check. Go to the forge, open it up and see if the weapon goes in the forge. If it does, it should be usable.

You can put soulbound things in the forge. I’ve tossed in a pile of Soulbound on Acquire stuff before and I usually keep my soulbound Masterwork items for the forge.

Well you didn’t have to soulbind -that- item persay. I’m sure you were wearing armor and weapons that were above white, weren’t you? :P
