Can we get Wiped on dungeons arena net?
Then make a rule with your party to not do that, the bosses in dungeons in this game are extremely difficult for alot of people, making them harder would just make the dungeons even less desirable for many more people.
Then anet should make easy and harder versions of the dungeons, with a better chance of getting good loot on hard mode.
Having waypoint respawn abuse as a way to make the dungeons easier is just plain ugly.
@finaldeath. Ye but then players should reflec, think, discuss. Try out diffrent tactics, combo abilities?.
Me my self think it’s kinda boring when we die at 10% and get to run back and finnish him off. its like if you wipe u do not get Punished for failing.
feels like u cheat on a test and the teachers smiles and says “go on, no problem”.
I can agree on that some Instances might be hard.
But then what is the meaing of Not learning anything from an instance? just run through whit out a problem gets kinda boring.

I remember how boring Dungeons was, u just had to run thru room after room in 10-30mins.
While Raids was SO FUN.
Trying to beat that one boss before week reset or monthly waht ever it was.
The feeling after u downed that Boss after weeks and tries, it was good.
(not i dont want Normal lowbie dungeons to be that hard but i want some challange at lvl 80, some Normals that is possible some harder and some EXTREME HARD"

I agree with error. To sum it up dungeons seem to be lacking challenge and personal responsibility from dying. That doesn’t make the game as engaging.
And I really like GW2 dungeons over wow’s. GW2’s dungeons are chaotic and require crowd controlling, while WoW was so repetitive it was more like guitar hero than anything else.

Please god no, this was one of the worst things ever introduced into wow.
Currently the punishment for dieing a lot iskitten repair costs. I feel instead of anything suggested here they should just implement a stacking death res timer while inside dungeons. First time you die, instant respawn. 5th time you die 2min respawn. This means that on the first or second death its not so sever but if you a repeatedly dieing then you just become unable to res without a team mate revive.
MOST people aren’t good enough to kill anything without the corpse running method. you don’t understand that MOST MMORPG PLAYERS are really, really, really bad. they don’t read tooltips, they don’t know what the button they’re pushing does, they don’t pay attention to anything in the UI.
you HAVE to appeal to the majority (the bad players who like to just log in and do whatever) or you can’t afford to make an AAA game. MMORPGs will NEVER be hardcore again. GW2 is as difficult as an MMORPG is going to get if they expect to make any money.
today’s gamers are SOFT but they pay the bills. they couldn’t figure out bowser’s castle maze without a guide though
Unfortunately, Sulmith is right. I 100% agree with the OP on liking the idea of not being able to brute force a boss, but the truth is the number of skilled players in the game actually capable of doing that are… slim right now. Most players are coming from Themepark MMOs like WoW and getting their butts handed to them in dungeons. Increasing the difficulty at all would just end up causing them to either fill up the forums with QQ more than they have now, or just flat out leave.
