Q:

Long story short, I got a Dusk from a chest and I accidently soulbound the dang thing to my Guardian when I was essentially hoping to go for Sunrise. Meanwhile I got a guildie/friend, whom I can trust, who is going for Twilight. I was thinking of us trading the two legendaries.

If I make Twilight and my friend makes Sunrise, can we exchange the two through our guild bank (I have a personal guild bank for this)? Or can we mail it to each other? Just looking for a safe way to transfer if possible at all.

PS I know the person friend in real life so I can trust the other person on not screwing with me and make Eternity for himself. Sounds tempting though

Appreciate the help in advance.

A:

Both of those methods will work.

If the guild is only shared by the two of you then the bank is probably the easiest way to do it. If there’s even one other person there then it’s probably better to mail them to reduce the risk of someone else getting them.

Yes it is possible since the legendary created through the mystic forge is bind when equipped. But use mail for this, someone might be looking at the bank at the very moment you’re “trading” and steal them.

I’m wondering about one thing though. If the precursor is soulbound, won’t the legendary made also be?

The item system here doesn’t really work that way. In fact you can do a similar thing with uninfused ascended items. If you have an uninfused ascended item that you don’t want to use anymore you can infuse it and it becomes account bound again and you can equip it on a different character.
