Well? I kinda like another piece of armor from another class wanna know if I can transmute it over another wearable piece. It makes sense and the only reason why I feel that the Blue transmutation stars are in the game. Just wanna know if this is possible before I start putting time in to getting that armor only to figure you can not do this.

Armor is not profession specific.

Armor is based on weight. Light Armor, Medium Armor, and Heavy Armor. Anyone who wears Light Armor can wear all the Light Armor available (except for race specific armors and order specific armors).

Now, if you’re asking if you can wear Heavy Armor as a Light Armor wearer, then no you can’t. You can only wear the armor for your weight class.

And you can’t transmute a light armor in order to get a heavy armor’s look, if you were by chance wondering that.

Sad face It would be so awesome if we could anet make it happen.

To be simple.

When transmuting, when you chose the model it decides what armor type and model the item will be.

When you transmute the stats, the stats will chose what rarity and stats the item will have.

So no, you can’t do it. Though you already know now. But this was just a quick FYI.
