Hi. Im a newbe. As soon as i reached lv 13 i bought a warrior trait guide from a trainer. Payed 2 skill points and 10 silver. After i red the guide it dissapeared as if i learned the trait but there was also a popup disclaimer that you can use traits from lv 30. Since the guide was used and i dont see any changes to my character i assume it will automaticly unlock itself at lv 30 so i wont have to buy another guide. Am i assuming correctly?

The trait is unlocked but you won’t be able to see/allocate trait points until level 30.

The trait will be unlocked for you once you reach level 30, so you didn’t completely lose that silver and two skill points.

The only traits that are unlocked by default are the minor traits (odd points). All Major traits (even points) have to be unlocked through completing a certain event/task or by purchasing through the traits vendor.

In short, once you hit 30 you’ll be able to acquire and spend points, but unless you complete certain tasks or buy traits you will only event have access to the minor traits. The trait you bought was a major trait and will be usable once you have enough trait points to open a slot for the trait you bought.

I would suggest NOT buying any further Traits as the new Trait system (that will likely be introduced soon) does not appear to require gold / skill points to obtain (and they will change in any event.

I’d rephrase that to strongly consider.

If I really need a trait (for whatever reason), I’m not going to sit around waiting for a theoretical release that might happen in a month or four.

OTOH, neither am I going out of my way to do any of the current trait challenges (I’ve done all of those at least a dozen times before the current system was introduced; I have never had any interest in repeating them again for every character created since the system was introduced.) I can live without most traits until the new system kicks off and I’ll be happier avoiding the tedium.
