Guild Wars 2

I have not been able to figure out how to actually target and fire the cannon/mortar.

I get 2 options – 1 to Interact, and 1 to Leave. I have done a few searches about the actual mechanics, but come up dry.

Any instruction on this would be greatly appreciated!

There’s two types I’ve come across. Some use the skill bar (1-3) to give commands to move from side to side for aiming and to fire. The second type have only a ‘fire’ command on the skill bar and aim wherever your cursor is positioned on the screen.

Took me a while to figure out the second type! Hope this helps.

If you don’t have the left/right command, just a plain fire…try holding down the fire. Usually the longer you hold it the further it will go (there might be a bar growing when you do this).
