I’m sorry if this information is out there somewhere; I’ve looked diligently and can’t be sure if I have the most current information.

What is the easiest way to obtain exotic celestial weapons and armor? I know at one point it was craft only bind on acquire and a huge pain. Is that still the case, or can you get them simply on TP, or is there any shortcut to crafting with the time gated stuff?

As far as I know Celestial gear is only obtainable through Exotic/Asended crafting or TP. Some of the Mystic Forge recipes can be chosen to be Celestial, but those can cost just as much or more than crafting.

You still can only charge one Quarz crystal per day and its accountbound on creation, so no way to buy it in the TP.

Wow, well that is stupid. Thanks for info! Still time gated and aggravating to get I see. It is really dumb that this stat set is so hard to get.

Depending on the weapon type you can still buy some with Celestial stats like: Crystal Guardian (GS), Stardust (SB), and Shiverstone (Mace). You can’t buy Charged Quartz, but you can buy the regular Quartx Crystals off the TP for cheap.

Also, the Celestial gear you create cannot be sold on the TP so make sure you really want it before you spend your time and resources making it…

ascended trinkets can have celestial stats. talk to laurel vendor to pay with laurels or fractal vendor to pay with relics.
